1.
You will be on a successful team.
Greenbelt Alliance is the San Francisco Bay Area's land conservation
and urban planning nonprofit. For 50 years, Greenbelt Alliance
has been active across the nine-county region protecting open space,
opposing
sprawl,
and promoting livable, equitable communities. We have helped save over
1 million acres of working farms and natural areas.
We
are
a leader in promoting regional solutions to the problems of sprawl, including
affordable housing policies, and were one of the first environmental
groups to recognize the importance
of good urban planning in saving open space. With the threat of climate
change looming large, our latest efforts involve helping leaders and
decision-makers make the connection between land use and greenhouse gas
emissions. With a talented,
diverse staff and our legacy of success, Greenbelt Alliance plans to keep
the Bay Area a great place to live, work, and play.
